A festival of the sea which takes place from July 11th to July 17th.
Come and see the hundreds of different boats and ships which come together in the harbour of Brest to celebrate the sea and sailing. There working and pleasure vessels large and small from all around the world.

Tour De France - Brittany Stages

In 2008 the Tour De France leaves from Brest for the 6th time in its history.
Three days of racing in Brittany July 5th, 6th, 7th.
  - Wednesday July 2nd : The press arrive.
  - Thursday July 3rd : The teams are introduced.
  - Saturday July 5th : First stage from Brest to Plumelec.   - Sunday July 6th : Second stage Auray to Saint Brieuc.
  - Monday July 7th : Third stage Saint Malo to ?
